Back to redo the Missingham Steps and Stevo’s Loop Track. Last time, in early 2024, very unprepared for the dense bush and lack of marked track. While somehow completed, the memory of woods shock and crawling up vertical, leech-infested slopes in a panic stayed.

This time with offline mapping and safety gear it was possible to appreciate the wild landscapes instead. Once across the river rock-hopped downstream to some stunning cascades at the confluence of Kangaroo River and Dtharowal Creek.
